The brief

The problem: dev studios all promise the same three things: fast, affordable, high quality. Unbland is a product studio where designers and developers ship as one in-house team, and it needed a brand that refuses the template the way the studio refuses handoffs.

The strategy is a spine, not a slogan. For entrepreneurs who want to turn ideas into real, fundable products, Unbland removes the friction between brand, design and code. Its values fit on one line each: one team, one standard, one outcome; every decision has a reason; boring is a risk.

The identity runs on a single clip-shaped O, a shock of pink against black, and a texture of raw ASCII. Then it goes outside: LED billboards, wheatpaste posters, museum banners and a feed that speaks in the studio’s own clipped voice.

01The Strategic Spine

The strategy reads like the studio works: short sentences, statements over promises. Unity, intent, distinction. Confident but not arrogant, direct but not abrupt. Instead of fast, affordable and high quality, Unbland says: built once, built right.

02Out of Home

The mark is an O-shaped clip: design and development linked in one piece. Pink against black, an ASCII texture nodding to the code underneath, and a campaign that takes the promise to the street.

04The Voice

Social speaks the spine, never the template: we design and develop under one roof; build it right the first time; we took full ownership from the start.
